🌿Ritual Steps
1. Center yourself.
Place your hands over your heart or breasts. Take a few deep breaths into your belly. Imagine exhaling any tension, and inhaling softness and flow.
2. Warm the oil.
Pour a small amount of oil into your palms and rub together to warm it. Feel the herbs awaken with your touch.
3. Begin with light strokes.
Start at the outer breast, near your armpit, and stroke gently toward your collarbone and down the side of your neck. This encourages lymph to flow freely.
4. Circular massage.
Using flat fingers or soft knuckles, move in gentle circles around the entire breast, moving from the outer breast toward the nipple. Use a feather-light pressure — lymph sits close to the skin.
5. Sweep outward.
Use longer strokes from the center of your breast outward, toward your armpit and down your side. Think of it like guiding water out of a streambed — slow and intentional.
6. If tender spots arise...
Pause. Cup the area with warmth and kindness. You may gently pulse over the area or massage in tiny circles to encourage movement, never forcing.
7. Finish with stillness.
Place your hands on your heart or over your breasts. Whisper a thank-you to your body. Let the herbs continue their work as you rest.
